Dr Dominique Bosson (1959-2022)

Honorary President

Dr Dominique Bosson was born in Fribourg, Switzerland. After his medical studies, he underwent Orthopaedic and Traumatology postgraduate studies in the University hospital of Geneva. He was then nominated as head of the Orthopaedic department in Nyon hospital (Groupement Hospitalier de l’Ouest lémanique). After a blistering career in the public sector when he had gained national recognition for prosthetic surgery, he then started a private practice at Clinique de Genolier for the Swiss Medical Network. He co-founded the Humanitarian for Empowerment and was nominated tas the Honorary President. His dedication to the philanthropy cause was equal to none. He was among the volunteers and travelled to Mauritius for the first HFE mission. He suddenly left us on January 2022 leaving a void but gifted us with an immense heritage à the Humanitarian for Empowerment foundation.

He will be remembered as a talented, generous and bright personality.
