HFE is entirely dependent on private contributions and the voluntary work of its members. External people support the foundation by organizing original events.

Its sources of funding include:

1. The amount of entrance fees and contributions;
2. Subsidies from the federation, the cantons and the communes.
3. The association reserves the right to exercise commercial and / or industrial activities for the sole purpose of financing its activities and defraying its expenses.
4. Any other contribution
5. Donations, legacies and other voluntary services
6. Allocations made by sponsors
